- Nova Hy-Gree is a liquid nitrogen fertilizer solution composed of urea and ammonium nitrate.
- Nova Hy-Gree contains nitrogen in three forms i.e. amide (-NH), ammonia NH,) and nitrate (-NO,) forms. the nitrate form (NO,) is immediately available for plant uptake, and ammonium (NH,’) is also assimilated directly by most plants, but, is rapidly oxidized by soil bacteria to form NO,. The rest of the solution is comprised of urea (amide form), and is hydrolyzed by soil enzymes to form NH,, which is subsequently transformed to NO, in most soil conditions. As a result, this solution provides both fast acting and long lasting plant food through its three forms of nitrogen.
- Due to its chemical properties, Nova Hy-Gree solution is compatible with many other nutrients and agricultural products. It is frequently mixed with solutions containing phosphorus and potassium as well as other essential plant nutrients. This solution is well adapted for a variety of applications, including: Soil injections, foliar sprays and irrigation systems.
